STRATEAS CARLUCCI presents ESTRANGE – a collection that delves deep into the labyrinth of self-detachment, where the soul navigates the intertwined paths of pleasure and pain, their echoes reverberating.

In homage to the profound words of the French philosopher Albert Camus, “And never have I felt so deeply at one and the same time so detached from myself and so present in the world.” STRATEAS CARLUCCI embarks on a voyage of exploration probing the enigmatic realms of estrangement, where the boundaries between self and world blur teetering on the precipice of ecstasy and agony.

Within ESTRANGE, the dichotomy or beauty and pain unfolds, where the harsh lines of reality intersect with the bourgeoning nature of ideals. Layers cascade, forming fortresses or protection against the onslaught or tribulations, while voluminous silhouettes soar, offering liberation. Yet amidst this juxtaposition, a subtle rebellion emerges, expressed through pierced adornments and clandestine whispers of pleasure, a silent defiance against the confines of convention.

As whispers of “Mourning Sex” ripple through the fabric of the collection, STRATEAS CARLUCCI continues to explore the delicate balance between joy and sorrow, weaving a narrative of emotional complexity. Across the canvas of fabric, decorative lace emerges a motif shrouded in ambiguity, a symbol of the delicate interplay between mourning and celebration, sadness and ecstasy, a testament to the intricate tapestry or human experience.
